Today I had a chance to wander around my local high street and look in the charity shops, and I found some lovely vintage sewing patterns (and some more fabric.. ssh!). I got three from the British Red Cross for 50p each, and one modern pattern in Hospices of Hope for 50p. They weren't the easiest to find - I was rummaging around in several baskets on my hands and knees searching! Although I did see a lot of wool and knitting patterns.

First of all I got the Dorothy tea dress from the Threaders vintage collection, which includes 3 different options for the pattern. I'm not completely sure if I'll use this pattern anytime soon, but for 50p I couldn't pass it up.

Next I got the Simplicity 9566 pattern, which includes a mini skirt, bolero, and 'hip-hugger pants or knickers'! The mini skirt is so cute, and the illustrations were too cool to leave the pattern behind.

I got another Simplicity pattern, number 6216. This is a lovely dress pattern, I can't wait to make this one.

Finally, I got one more Simplicity pattern, number 5212. This is a workwear pattern, which includes a blazer, skirt, and trousers. I'd love to make the blazer from velvet, or maybe a dark floral patterned fabric.

Which one should I make first? Let me know your thoughts!
